Manpower Inc. (NYSE: MAN) today announced that Barbara J. Beck has been promoted to Executive Vice President of the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region after three years of leading the company's U.S. and Canadian operations. Jonas Prising has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Manpower's U.S. and Canadian operations from his previous role as Managing Director of Manpower Italy.
Stefano Scabbio will take over as Managing Director of Manpower Italy after serving for two years as Manpower Italy's Finance Director.

The management changes will become effective on January 1, 2006. Beck and Prising will report to Chairman & CEO Jeff Joerres. Scabbio will report to Gady Munz, Regional Managing Director of Southern Europe.
Beck joined Manpower in 2002 to run the company's U.S. and Canadian operations, where she improved profitability by 140% in a three-year period.
Prising joined Manpower in 1999 as Sales Director for the company's EMEA region and was promoted to Managing Director of Italy in 2002. Manpower Italy is one of the company's fastest growing operations, increasing revenues by more than 50% under Prising's tenure.
Scabbio has been Chief Financial Officer of Manpower Italy since 2003, and previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Esselunga Group, a leading Italian retail company.
