By acquiring Xi'an Fesco, ManpowerGroup becomes the dominant workforce solutions leader along China's manufacturing frontier, west of traditional coastal cities. ManpowerGroup is implementing a massive strategy for developing and aligning China's manufacturing workforce, as the country modernizes this sector and repositions it across new inland hubs.

ManpowerGroup also recently secured access to millions of workers in North Central China through a partnership with the City of Kaifeng in Henan Province – helping sustain the extensive renovation of inland China. When combined with the company's established leadership in China, this strategy solidifies ManpowerGroup's position as the country's only provider of a full suite of innovative workforce solutions – ranging from executive search and recruitment process outsourcing, to large volume recruitment and temporary staffing.
